THE DARTMOUTH CLUB OF MAINE swung into its 1940 activity on February 19 with a good old-fashioned "get-together" in the Cumberland Club in Portland. Officers elected for the current year were as follows: President, Carrell K. Pierce '39; Vice President, William W. Ban ton '16; Secretary, Reynolds E. Moulton '35; Treasurer, Capt. Albert C. Cleveland '15.
Dr. Thomas A. Foster 'lO was nominated as candidate for reelection to the Alumni Council for a term of three years to succeed himself.
A new committee composed of H. D. Lakeman '96, Dana C. Douglass Jr. '37 and John W. Hill '17 was appointed by the Chair to study the possibilities of a Dartmouth Club of Maine Scholarship Fund.
J. Lawrence Day '14 reported definite progress on the Paul S. Harmon Memorial.
