THE REGULAR SPRING MEETING of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Southeastern Florida was held in the Colony Hotel, Delray Beach on Wednesday, March 13, 1940 at 7 P.M.

The association was honored by the presence of William I. Clark Smith, class of 1880 and one of Dartmouth's oldest living alumni. Mr. Smith expressed his pleasure on being present and declared that he had graduated from college before any other man present had been born.
A letter from Lewis Parkhurst '78, was read thanking the association for sending him a copy of our song sheet signed by all the men who attended the Dartmouth dinner in Miami last fall.
The President urged all members to give every assistance to men contemplating entering Dartmouth. The college has only 7 Floridians in attendance this year and he feels that this number could easily be increased by serious effort on the part of the association.
The following officers were unanimously elected for the year: Bill Corrigan '23, President; Ed Becton '28, Ist Vice President; George Loehr '20, 2d Vice President; Don Bunting '34, Secretary-Treasurer.
Three men who have been in close touch with the College and its activities during recent years gave interesting informal talks on news and views in Hanover. Bob Sanderson '11, prominent in New Hampshire Democratic political circles who has decided to make his home in Florida "where his friends are" gave highlights of football, basketball and hockey. Frank Packard '25, and H. S. Turner '15, told of recent trips to Hanover.
On suggestion of Bob Sanderson '11, the secretary was instructed to wire Prexy Hopkins our wish that his present vacation be a pleasant one and our hope that next year he will again be with us as he was last year.
A vote of appreciation was given to George Boughton for arranging the dinner and for his part in providing the entertainment.
Two reels of Dartmouth films were weli received—one in color entitled "Spring Comes to Dartmouth" and another called "Winter at Dartmouth."
