THE ANNUAL CARNIVAL-PICNIC of the Dartmouth Club of Wellesley, Mass., will be staged Saturday, May 25. Those who attended last year's frolic need not be urged to be present. Those who missed out in 1939, or were not living in or near the Welleslies at that time, may require a little "selling." With this in mind, the picnic committee is putting out an interesting mailing piece, setting forth full details. But perhaps you don't happen to be the Club's mailing list—so—bear in mind that you're invited if you live in the general vicinity of Wellesley. And so is your wife —or if you are a graduate of very recent vintage, so is your sweetheart.

There'll be baseball and quoits and ping pong and roll-out-the-barrel, as well as many of the features generally associated with outstanding county fairs. But everything will have a distinct Hanover atmosphere, and every penny of the proceeds (the extraction will be modest and painless) will go to the club's scholarship loan fund at the College. To get further details as to exact hour, place, what to wear and so on, get in touch without delay with: Alex Jardine '16, president of the Club, or Allan Gottschaldt '18, secretary. Both names are listed in the Wellesley phone book.
