As Secretary and Treasurer of the class, I attended the annual meetings of the class secretaries and treasurers in Hanover last June while in Hanover. I had a very pleas- ant visit with Chivers and his family, and also met Griggs.

The last issue of the Dartmouth has several references to members of the class. It has a particularly large representation of men in military service: Banning, as Lt. Col. in the Signal Corps at Boston; Archie Fontaine, located at Fort Jay; Philip Fox, Colonel of Infantry; and Pillsbury, Brig. General in the Medical Corps at Fort Devens, Mass.

Arthur Ruggles has been elected to a five-year term as trustee of the college, and Houghton to the Executive Committee of the General Alumni Association.

R. C. Clark has been for some time President of Bellows Falls Trust Company, at Bellows Falls, Vermont.

Pattrell had a long period of illness in the spring and early summer following an operation in May.
