Henry Austin, our class treasurer, writes (or should have written) that he and his wife have had a very enjoyable summer at his home in Webster, N. H. and are busy on closing up matters preparatory to leaving for St. Petersburg, Florida, where they have spent their winters for so many years; his calm philosophy fortunately enables him to enjoy life in spite of the very much disturbed condition of affairs both at home and abroad.

A reliable report from Sam Hudson states that he is enjoying his usual health and takes life comfortably, coming to his office several times a week. He and his wife have had a pleasant summer at their home in Hingham, Mass., where, according to their custom, they plan to remain until late in November and then come into a Boston hotel for the winter months.

The Secretary has been endeavoring to get reports for sometime from our classmates, Joe Shultz, whose latest address was 413 Tyler St., Topeka, Kansas, and OlinSturges, whose latest address was 608 P St., Sacramento, Cal., but has been unsuccessful and therefore calls upon his other classmates for any assistance they may be able to render in running down these two members.

The ALUMNI MAGAZINE has issued to each class secretary a copy of its annual pamphlet of directions and suggestions, the following very important direction with reference to promptness in sending in class notes deserves the cooperative attention of each member of the class, namely: honorable mention is given to each class secretary on the following basis "for copy received before the 10th of each month, 10 points; on the 10th, p points', later, but in time for publication 5 points." This rule obviously places a joint responsibility for such honorable mention of a Secretary upon not only the secretary himself but each one of his classmates for their cooperation. Classmates let's all pull together and make our record 10 points for each month.
