HUBERT B. MCDONOUGH '18 was elected as the new president at the annual meeting Friday, October 3. Other officers elected were as follows: first vice president, Robert P. Booth '22; second vice president, Dr. Robert Flanders 'l4; chairman executive committee, Kenrick C. Bean '2l; treasurer, F. B. Edgerly 'O4; secretary, Kenneth W. Davis '24.

Two new members of the executive committee, to replace losses by death during the past year, are Wallis A. McCoy '07 and Ralph E. Langdell '28. Accomplishments during the successful administration of Win Wadleigh '23 included, in addition to the regular luncheon and dinner events, raising and adding $250.00 to the Manchester Association's Student Loan Fund, assisting in the election of Bob Booth '22 to the Alumni Council, a new Association banner, and a Directory of Members.

Only a few hours after the annual meeting, from which Dr. Ben Sanborn '08 was absent for the first time in many years, there was the sad news of his death. His going is a distinct loss to the Association, both because of his capacity for friendship and his constant willingness to perform enthusiastically the activities required for the benefit of all things Dartmouth. A large delegation of alumni attended his funeral services on Monday, October 6.

Responding to the thoughtful invitation extended by Station WMUR, about twenty listened at the studios to the reception of the Dartmouth-Norwich game direct from Memorial Field. Although the station was not on the air, we were able to enjoy an interesting preview of their football game broadcasting schedule. This new Manchester station is broadcasting all the 1941 games being played in Hanover, which is certainly a fortunate break for those unable to attend the games from this area.
