ALTHOUGH THE ATTENDANCE at our meet. ing on Dartmouth Night was substandard, we nevertheless had a grand time under the leadership of our president, Bob Simonds '25. Quite a lengthy and serious discussion evolved during the course of the evening concerning liberalism in the colleges today, especially at Dartmouth. No conclusions were reached.

Congratulations are in order for Bob Ritter '18 who was just elected to the City Council of Allentown on the Republican ticket. It is rumored that on election night Bob threw one of the best parties ever staged in Allentown.

Charley Stickney '21, our former secretary, has written that he would like to have been with us, but other Dartmouth meetings in New York and classes at New York University prevented him from doing so. Lee Bausher '21 no doubt chatted with Charley since he attended the same class officer's meeting in New York.

Your secretary has now moved to larger quarters at 531 North 11th Street, Reading.

Those good Dartmouth rooters who braved the elements on Dartmouth Night to travel to the Hotel Allen in Allentown were Valentine Klopp '09, Louis Ekstrom '12, Bob Ritter '18, Bob Simonds '25, Milt Shultz '30, Jack Loose '33, Carl Erdman '37, and Tom McGrath '38.
