A recent letter from Reunion Chairman, Bob Salinger, indicates great progress by his committee for our big jamboree next June. He and Carl Schipper traveled to Hanover in December for a meeting with Sid Hayward, Red Merrill and Paul Allen. Sid, as Hanover Chairman, is making arrangements for a class buffet supper and dance at the Outing Club House on Friday, June 20th. Red Merrill is taking charge of the Class Dinner which will be held Saturday night and which promises to be a very worthwhile affair. Don Norstrand is working on the costume problem and predicts something attractive and "neat but not gaudy." The tax is going to be reasonable and. .. .Well, let's stop here before we scoop the committee's first press release. Incidentally, be sure to answer any and all communications you receive from the committee as it will naturally help them make reunion a grand success.

Brant Wallace has again blossomed forth in the realm of politics. This time he has broadened his scope from New Jersey to the national scene. As State Chairman of the Garden State's Young Republicans, he was delegate to the National Convention in Des Moines, lowa, January 31st and February Ist. He was elected regional director of the national organization for the states of New York, Delaware, Indiana and New Jersey. Incidentally, the '26 political limelight at the convention was shared by Chal Ewing who is State Chairman for Colorado and who made the seconding speech for the new National Chairman, one Gordon Allott of Colorado.

Brant made a brief stop in Chicago on the way out and called Gib Robinson on the 'phone. Gib was at home convalescing from the flu so Brant went out to his house and had a nice visit with him. He reports that a new baby girl graces the Robinson home but could not give us her name. How about sending in the vital statistics, Gib?

Brant also tried to see Carle Blunt but found that he was vacationing in Phoenix, Arizona.

A recent note from Al Louer reports his Alumni Fund Organization all set for the coming campaign. The key men who will assist him this year are:

Ran Cox—Massachusetts. Doug Everett—New England, excluding Mass.

Bob Stopford and Jack Bickford—Metropolitan N. Y. Tubber Weymouth—Upstate N. Y. Warren Fellingham—lllinois. Bob Cleary—Fraternity Contact. Carlie Blunt—Special Gifts.

Reg Thompson is doing a swell job with McCann Erickson in New York, where he is in charge of writing copy for the Ford account. Hap Johnston, the big starch tycoon with Stein-Hall & Co., reports the birth on January 16th of a third daughter, Patricia Ellen, who joins Diane, 9, and Janet, 5½, in a loud plea to make Dartmouth co-ed.

Rus Webster kindly sent a clipping from the Toledo, Ohio, Times which we are pleased to quote—"Chester Morton, Times' music, movie and drama critic, has just had the distinction of having his review of the Boston Symphony orchestra's recent concert here published in the annual concert bulletin of that famed musical organization." Nice going, Chet!

Dartmouth's Walter P. Chrysler has one of the country's largest and best collections of modern French paintings. However, up until a couple of months ago, he had never shown them. 1926's Tom Colt gave him his first opportunity to exhibit. To quote Tom—"l thought the show would liberate some people's ideas of what art is" and.... "I hope there will be a few healthy fights down here." Apparently Chrysler's million dollars worth of Picassos, Lagers, Braques, Derains, etc. caused much controversy. But then that's what our Thomas wanted.Tom, as you know, is Director of The Virginia State Museum.

Mrs. Joshua B. Merrill of Danvers, Mass. announced the engagement of her daughter, Elizabeth, to Chester T. Morrison on December 23rd. On January 21st, Chet was elected Assistant Trust Officer of the State Street Trust Co. in Boston. Double congratulations!

Charlie Singleton of Connecticut General fame dropped in on us recently and volunteered a few news items, as follows:

Ken Godfrey made Connecticut General $50.00 poorer by slipping on a rug at home and fracturing a rib or two. (adv. for Singleton).

Wallie MacDonald is in the passenger traffic department of T.W.A Laurie Fitzgibbon is selling for a wholesale drug house in New Jersey and living in Mt. Vernon, N. Y Steve Millard is Treasurer or Bursar of Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and lives in Rockville Centre, L. I.

From the records office in Hanover, we have learned that Joe Kinney is back in Pittsburgh with United Engineering and Foundry Tom Murdough is selling for American Hospital Supply Corp. in Chicago Bud Banfield is a gasoline distributor in Mountainside, N. J. and living in Westfield Dave Levy is a statistician and living at 1100 East 18th Street, Denver, Colorado Dick Gooding's new address is 411 6th Avenue, S.W., Rochester, Minn Does any one know the "whereabouts" of Ed Hassett?
