The Boston Globe of August 27th carried a very interesting article about "Cav," reporting that Hollywood was considering a script for a picture on his life. The article gave a short history with several anecdotes which were very characteristic of the qualities for which he was so well known.

Hawley Chase, now listed as retired, is making his first bid for public office by be- ing the unopposed candidate for the Dem- ocratic nomination for Councillor in the Fifth District of New Hampshire. We wish him success.

"Peddy" Miller has accepted a sudden call to teach during the first semester at Penn State College in the Department of Sociology. He reports that the Seminar which he conducted at Durham and at Orono was very successful, and that he visited with Tony Willard while at Orono.
