If we mention Reunion from time to time, it is not with any confidence that it will be a tremendous throw-back to the Era of Wonderful Nonsense. We can see the matter in its true proportion. We merely feel that it will be worthwhile to have a meeting, however small, and that we should not now give up the idea com- pletely.

Bill Dewey has agreed to try to assemble a committee from the waning number of classmates in and about Hanover. We shall expect to have a report from him in the near future.

Present at the Holy Cross game, accord- ing to a reliable report were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Manchester and Dr. John AlexanderDavidson. The latter is ostensibly intern- ing at the Worcester Hospital, but his riot- ous living has some of the more sedate members of the medical profession talking of stern disciplinary action by the approp- riate committee of the Worcester Medical Association.

Dorothy Jean Gregg was married on July 19th at the Riverside Church in New York to Lieut. Dave Flynn. Dave is sta- tioned at South Weymouth, Mass., where the couple will make their home.

A portly, balding and bemoustached Roger Kafka has made his way into the select circle of those who have been inter- viewed by the Inquiring Photographer of the Daily News. He was presented with the question: "Is your son a better man than his father?" He came back with the follow- ing withering reply: "I am a better man today at my age, but give the boy a chance. He'll catch up with the old man, just wait and see!"

Dr. W. W. Teahan of Holyoke, Mass., has been called to active duty in the Army. He has been commissioned as a captain in the Medical Corps and expects to leave for foreign service after a preliminary training period. Captain Teahan is married and is the father of a daughter, Mary Eileen.

Mr. and Walter White of New York City have announced the marriage of their daughter, Virginia, to Mr. Wilbur M.Jaquith of Clinton, Mass. Mr. and Mrs. Jaquith will live in Boston.

Vincent Young at 52 High St., Apt. 6, Methuen, Mass Jim Woods is an executive with the Crosby Steam Valve and Gage Cos. in Charleston, Mass. He lives at 10 Leslie Rd., Winchester, Mass.

Dick Gerslell is a lieutenant in the Navy. .... Bill Gibbons is a lieutenant (2nd) in the Army Air Corps in Houston Lieut. J. K. Smart has left the country for foreign service.

Lee Eckels, faithful and efficient Treas- urer of the Class, is now in the midst of the 1942-3 campaign for ALUMNI MAGAZINE subscriptions. The complexity of the prob- lem of securing the percentage of subscrip- tions necessary for the success of the 100% plan is obvious this year. Prompt and full remittance of dues will make the campaign a success.

Lee has filed his Treasurer's Report for the 1941-2 campaign. He shows receipts of $606.00 and disbursements of $608.21 for a deficit of $2.21. Let's hope that we can do as well again this season. It's always possible to get a few of the wealthy mem- bers of the Class to band together to pay off the $2.21.
