The Alumni Fund Drive is on again, and it really looks as if we of the Class of '93 should be able at least to keep up the comparatively good record which we made last year. We did not reach our quota, which was not a high one, so let us all pull together and try to do it this year.

John Kellar writes a most interesting letter. Says that asthma has been pressing him hard during the winter. You will remember that John was retired a year ago, at that time being Chief of the Section of Hydrographic Surveys, but he has been called back into service because of the war emergency, and what is most important, because of his special training and knowledge particularly important at this time. At the time of his retirement, Mrs. Kellar and he moved to what was then the country, but during the last year-and-a-half Washington has grown out to them, and they are now figuring on moving still further back; perhaps as far back as Florida, he says, where his son is now located. Their daughter lives in Alaska. John and Mrs. Kellar are planning to take a trip into New England this coming summer, and he says he hopes to see some of us who are located here.

Recent calls on Calef and Pender found both going strong in their various activities. Had a nice visit with Rufus and Mrs. Baker at their new home at Durham, N. H. "Skid" is just the same. His column "Granite Chips" in the Concord Monitor is a most interesting feature of that paper. Word from him indicates that Harry Metcalf is still active in Newport; that "Billy" Mann went home from the hospital, promptly had a bad chill, and was sent back to the hospital; that in one issue of the Manchester (N. H.) Union Mrs. Goss, Mrs. Runnells and Mrs. McDuffee were all mentioned in connection with activities of one sort or another. Communications from "Bob" Boutelle and Dr. "Woody" have cleared up, to some extent at least, an involved situation. The data connected with this requires too much space for these notes, but I am sure you would all be interested in knowing more about it. The details of this will be on hand at our 50th reunion.

According to present plans, May 15, 16, and 17 will see Dr. Martyn, Judge Griffith, Dr. L. Eaton, D.M.C. '93, and "yours truly" again reunioning at Hanover. We hope others may join us.
