It is the middle of March here in 'sota at this writing. Spring is in the air, and that means it is time to pack the belongings and relocate. This fellow is stuffing those boxes again, as a matter of fact for the 19th time since the fall of 1973. The destination is Boston, where I will be doing research in child and adolescent psychiatry for the next five months. After that the road leads back to Rochester, Minn., for the final year of medical school. Being in Boston should help my chances of making the reunion and thus overseeing the successful, and I emphasize successful, transfer of the responsibility for this column to one of you lucky ducks. Thus far the competition is less then fierce, but writing samples and the size of one's phone bill are being collected and examined. Hurry and get your name in for this greatly coveted position.

Katie and Thad Seymour are leading the hectic life down in Naperville, I11. Thad is attempting to set the tenth year accumulated degrees record. Thus far he has an M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin in history and is about to complete his M.B.A. at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern. Life is not all book work, as the Seymours added a junior Thaddeus to the clan last July. Thad notes that last year they attended the wedding of Bob Leach and Kate Kane in Boston. Don Burkhardt and Dave Halpert were in attendance as well as a host of riffraff from the classes of '75 through '79.

Much to the surprise of David Vaughan and his wife of almost three years, Helen, I managed to marry David off again in the last January/February column to a woman he had never met. So much for this secretary's matchmaking abilities, not to mention the verification of facts as they pour through this office. My apologies to Gezunt and Helen, as well as to Ann Leahey '83 and her new husband, David Vaughn. Um, note the spelling. Gezunt did have a few calm words to say. After he finishes his cardiology fellowship he and Helen are planning to move to Maui where they will pursue windsurfing and the art of jibing. Tally-ho.

It must have been a banner day in journalism, as no sooner did that January/February column hit the streets than a note arrived from Leslie Embs Bradford informing me that her new hubbie was Tuck and not Charles. Those wedding announcements in the New York Times so often fail to provide the significant details. In attendance at the wedding were Diana Taylor,Dee Dee and David Simpson and Nicoleand Jeffrey Lewis-Oakes. Tuck and Leslie live in Larchmont, N.Y., where they are refurnishing a 60-year-old Tudor and are commuting to Manhattan. They are looking forward to reunion and hope to catch up with the likes of Pete Gutschenritter, TomBlueher, Dave Kinnard and Ellen DukeStrauss.

Hanover received news of the wedding of David Woods III to Bobbie Ann Canada: "Bobbie, daughter of Paul M. Canada Jr. '50 and granddaughter of Paul M. Canada Sr. '20, is a copywriter with Estee Lauder International in New York. David, Who is still recovering from all the fun at Harvard Business School, is in Institutional Bond Portfolio Management with Dean Witter in New York. Bobbie and David are currently living in Manhattan."

That's the news. Send in those reunion reservation forms. See you in Hanover.

Some of the Dartmouth men in attendance at the wedding of David M. Wood 111 '77 and Bobbie AnnCanada were: left to right, back row, Paul J. Caravatte '45, Tuck '47, Peter Hazlewood '77, MacauleyTaylor '77, Mark Seigel '77, and Paul Grand Pre, Tuck '83; front row, Tom Bailey '77, Wood, fatherof the bride Paul M. Canada Jr. '50, Richie Bane '77, and Jack Husack '77.
