Mrs. Henry W. Thurston, née Charlotte E. Skinner, died at her home in Montclair, N. J., on September 30. She was born in Lee, Mass., graduated from Lake Forest (Ill.) College, class of 1881. She and Henry taught in the same high school in a Chicago suburb until their marriage, over fifty years ago. She leaves besides her husband, two brothers, two sisters, two sons, a daughter, and eight grandchildren. Burial was in Montclair, Dr. M. P. Noyes, pastor of the Central Presbyterian Church, officiating. She was a lady of charming personality, as every classmate who has met her, knows. Henry has suffered acutely from asthma this fall and feels obliged to relinquish for the present the duties of class secretary.

Billie Newton went to Chicago in September to inter the ashes of his wife in her family lot there. He called on Mrs. Jenks, who sent her greetings to the men and wives of the class.

Harry Burley is back on the job again after several weeks in the hospital last summer.

Will and Mary Hatch's granddaughter, Eleanor H. McCormick, a WAVE in x-ray work, was married in San Diego last August to Pharmacist's Mate, John Kerper, of South Dakota.

Kelly, with the assistance of Newton and the co-operation of every member of the class, hopes to get out a Class Letter about New Year's with a more extended account of the lives and activities of the class than the MAGAZINE has room to publish. His return to his Florida home may be delayed or canceled, in order to be near Mrs. Kelly's brother in Newport, R. I.

Acting Secretary, 18 Mt. Vernon St., Newport, R. I. Treasurer, Hudson, N. H.
