Biff Kelly writes from St. Petersburg, Fla., that he and Wardwell attended the annual Dartmouth Dinner there in February. Sixteen classes—from 1878 to 1910— were represented by 22 alumni—with wives and guests the total attendance was 60.
Pete—Feb. 16—says "I am OK except for some trouble with my teeth. My sister has been reading Snow Bound and it seems to fit in here now as the snow is over the fences. Mrs. Chaffin is spending the winter in Florida."
Rose says: "My granddaughter, Carol Rose, a Mt. Holyoke sophomore, had a thrilling time at the Dartmouth Carnival. I do not get out doors much these days as I have been having a bad time with arthritis in my hands and knees, I hope spring sunshine will help me." We hope so too, Rose.
A grandson of Spud Smith—a senior at Kimball Union Academy, broke both bones in one leg while skiing in February. A woman cousin of Spud has recently written him that Chase Jenks was "a fine man" and that she had known him intimately while they served together on the School Board of Evanston, Ill.
A February letter from Thompson was received too late to print in the March MAGAZINE. He says that he has had a strenuous fight with diabetis but is now improving. With the aid of an efficient secretary he still publishes his business monthly, Looking Ahead. Remember that his new address is Star Route, Hudson, Mass. He says—"l wish we '86 men could see each other again as of old. If we can I will bring a turkey." All right, Thompson—Pete will get his teeth fixed up right away.
