THE SPRINGFIELD GROUP held another of its occasional meetings on the evening of April 24 with 18 in attendance representing various classes.

As usual Doc Martyn '93 of Cuttingsville and Clayt Erwin 'O3 of Ludlow were there. We couldn't have a meeting without them. In addition, our visitors included Larry Leavitt '25 from Saxtons River, Forest Brown '29 from Bellows Falls, and Francis Fenn '37 from Hartford. As usual, our crowd included Henry Flynn 'l4, F. R. Adams 'l9, Junior Bryant '25, Dick Butterfield '3O, Steve Williams '3l, Gordon Ingram '33, and John Lovely and Harty Beardsley '37.

Making first time appearances were Stuart Eldridge '24, Dick Beyer '22, who has recently come to serve as pastor of the Congregational Church, and Doc Woodman '12.

The Hanover touch was given by Arch Hudson and Prof. Benezet '99; the latter rendering yeoman service for us, playing for our singing and then taking the platform to tell us about Hanover.

As usual, it was a swell meeting, and the only question was, when do we have another.
