SPRINGFIELD DARTMOUTH nights grow better and better and with no particular thought of extending our coverage, we do seem to find more and more people joining us.

On the evening of December 19 we had a particularly fine group for whose benefit George H. Colton '35, executive secretary of the Alumni Fund, came down from Hanover. With commendable modesty George tried to get by with a half-hour address, but before the crowd would let him go it was time to turn out the lights.

As usual Doc Martyn '93 was our leading visitor, if we can call a regular attendant a visitor. For this meeting we also had Os Fitts '26 from Brattleboro and a group from Windsor, including Tom Byrne '22, Ed Phelps '29 Leslie Allen '42, Armand Guarino '42 and Ed Martin '46. The rest of the crowd was made up of Henry Flinn '14, Ray Adams '19, Roy Pollard '21 of Proctorsville; Dick Beyer '22, Fred Vogel '22 of Bellows Falls; Stewart Eldridge '24, Junior Bryant '25, Maurice O'Leary '26, Forest Brown '29, Pete Wilcomb '30, Dick Butterfield '30, Steve Williams '31, Bud Titomb '36, Hart Beardsley '37, John Lovely '37, Phil White '37, Harry Tietjen '46 and, provisionally from the class of '51, Ray Adams Jr. and Larry Woolson. As an additional guest we had Hazen Woolson, father of Larry.
