Since July 30, Mrs. Redman and I have been wandering all over New England from Northern Maine to Cape Cod and then to Hanover and Swan ton, Vt. Consequently very little mail has caught up with us and class news is scarce.
At home I have an interesting letter from Jack Kingsbury but that will have to wait until the next issue.
Thanks to Elon Pratt I can report to the class that Herb Rainie was unanimously elected Mayor of Concord, N. H., on August 12. Herb claims that he is a very poor politician but he has been a member of the City Council for six years, has served in the House of Representatives for three years and was Senator for one year. That may not make him a politician but it proves that he is very much interested in the welfare of Concord and the state of New Hampshire.
The Littleton (N. H.) Courier recently carried a story about our Hamp Howe. As you know, Hamp is now living in San Francisco but for 50 years he has been a dues-paying member of Moosehillock Lodge, No. 25, Odd Fellows. In commemeration of this record he was presented with a 50-year continuous membership jewel.
If - you haven't paid your class dues, Norm will be glad to hear from you.
