The secretary and Mrs. Austin left for their winter home in St. Petersburg, Fla., October 12 by plane. They had hoped to make the trip by auto as they had done nearly every year since their first trip in 1923, but Mrs. Austin's physician advised against it as she has not completely regained her strength following eye operations at the Hitchcock Hospital in Hanover.

The secretary salutes Lorrain Weeks who celebrated his 87th birthday September 27 by taking a ten-mile walk. The day was one of the hottest of the season, and while he experienced no ill effects from his long walk he has decided to limit his outings in the future to a half mile stroll.

If the other members of the class were as vigorous as Weeks the '85 notes in the MAGAZINE would be more lengthy. How about it?
