A letter from Ralph S. Bartlett '89 speaks of a call on Dr. Edwin H. Allen at his home at 37 Hancock street on Beacon Hill, Boston, Mass. "He appears to be in splendid condition for a man in his 86th year, notwithstanding a period of illness last summer. He has a fine retentive memory and a gift for describing happenings and experiences of the past." Like the other five members of '85 still living, he is in the longevity brigade.

John and Mrs. Brooks are again in Southern Pines, N. C. for the winter. They were in John's old home at Eliot, Me. during the summer, together with their son and daughter for a portion of the time.

On September 3, 1949 a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin A. Bayley, Lucia Bayley Buchanan, of Pittsburgh, Pa. was married to Ralph Emerson Livingston of Boston. The ceremony took place at Beverly, Mass., the former home of the Bayleys, now the summer home of Dr. and Mrs. E. P. Buchanan (Marion Bayley). Mr. and Mrs. Livingston are living at 108 Mt. V-ernon Street, Boston.

Next June is the 65th anniversary of our graduation. There are now but six living graduates. It is our hope that we can have an attendance of 100% at what in all probability will be the last reunion of the class of '85.
