Mr. and Mrs. Matt E. Gately Jr. of Buenos Aires were in Hanover for about a week, early in December, visiting their son Matt Gately III. We hope Matt will see many of the class during his leave in this country from the First National Bank of Boston Buenos Aires Branch, for it has been several years since he was here. The secretary missed one call from him while enjoying the flu over Christmas and New Year's.

Steve Jewett arrived home for good in November, and is now headed back to Law School in February.

Fred D. Hovey has joined the landed gentry, and in the spring will move up into the farm in Etna Highlands, near Martin Remsen's, which he has just purchased. Being as near Hanover as Etna the Hovey's expect to see many in the class. Their son Tom, a sergeant in the Air Corps, is just back from the Pacific, so they had a good Christmas.

Don Cunningham's sons are still in service; Charles C. '46 is in Germany, where he fought with the 84th Division, and fortunately came through all right. His older son, Thomas Donald Jr., is now in Alberquerque, a second lieutenant in the Air Force, navigator and especially trained in Radar.

Vic Dunbar's Donald is in Prague, Czechoslovakia, with the American Mission, a very small group doing repatriation work, which he finds extremely interesting. As his address is still Wiesbaden, Germany, all letters to and from him are slow in delivery. Vic and Marjorie are at 1804 Campbell Ave., Schenectady 6, N. Y.

Now that he is back in the office, the secretary wishes to thank all for the .many Christmas cards and messages.

We have received a U. S. Army Signal Corps picture of the escort provided by King FarouK when Kippy Tuck went to Abdin Palace to present his credentials, a most impressive mounted escort.

George H. Stiles is now Captain Stiles in the USNR, stationed in Washington, D. C. He and Grace are Jiving at 4018—13th St., N. E.

How about letting George Knight, United Shoe Machinery Co., Federal St., Boston, or me, know if you can plan on a 1913 Reunion in Hanover, on a weekend in July?
