Bill Towler traveled west this summer and in Los Angeles found Ray Bennett in good health. He has a son entering Dartmouth this fall. Later we shall include a list of all the sons of the class in College this year.

Fred and Mabel Hovey have made fine improvements in their home and around the estate at Etna, N. H. Mabel has been ill much of the summer but is improving and we know will continue to do so. While the home is on the market they will sell only when they get their price and it should be a good one.

On May 18, Harold C. McAllister was installed a Most Worshippe Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Masons in New Hampshire. The installation took place at Freemasons Hall in Manchester. Harold is Vice President of the New Hampshire Fire Insurance Cos. and their new building, opened this summer, is really something to see.

Phil Gray died in Holland, Mich., on May 31, 1951. Obituary notice will be in this same issue of the MAGAZINE.

John Hubbard Linscott and Ardes Bernice Lockhart were married in Washington, D. C., on Friday, September 14, 1951, at Congress Heights Methodist Church. A small reception followed at the Hotel Dodge, Washington. Ardes, whose home was in Caribou, Me., graduated in June from Boston University. John attended Colby College and the New England Conservatory of Music before enlisting in the Navy. They will make their home in Washington, where John is enrolled at the Navy's School of Music. "Mose" and Ele travelled to Washington for the big doings, of course.

Edmund "Buck" Freeman writes that he and Gladys were touring as usual this summer.

"We were in New England twice this summer, the end of May and first of June, for a wedding of the next generation, and for two weeks in August. We wish we could have had some of Vermont's rainy days down here. We were in Hanover for a few hours (and how beautiful it was) but I did not see any familiar faces. As we were with other people, we did not look them up.

"I was at Lynnfield Center to visit my sister and family and had a pleasant call at the hospitable home of the Carl Shumways, a very interesting family, as one would know.

"Warde, do you have any idea of anyone who would like my bound set of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE, from 1926-1941, bound in green? Perhaps I should advertise it in the ALUMNI MAGAZINE. If any group has plans for a club room, they might be glad of these. I would be glad to send them "Freight Collect." I have tried the men here and none of them seems to have any space for such things."

We have just learned of the death of RalphDavis of Manchester, N. H. Ralph has been sick for a long time. Fuller notice will be found in this MAGAZINE'S obituary section.

Mr. and Mrs. R. S. "Eddie" Edwards were in Hanover with their son, on August 27 and 28. We missed them by one day.

Mose Ewing is going back to Berry College where he taught some years ago, so note a change of address to Berry College, Mt. Berry, Ga.
