The class will be shocked to learn of the sudden death, from a heart attack, of Virginia Herr Grosser. Many of us will recall that Virginia attended our class Reunions with her mother and father and was always a welcome addition at our picnics, etc. She leaves a family of four children who will compensate Florence and Ned to some extent for their loss. I am sure the class will want them to know that they have our deepest sympathy.

Eric Kelly is back on Chebeague Island after giving an address at Notre Dame University, and also at the Polish Congress in Chicago. In Chicago, Eric visited 100 of his Polish orphans from Mexico and a group of 20 in Pennsylvania.

The Congressional Record of the 79th Congress contains remarks in praise of Nathaniel Leverone, Leader of the National Association For Christian Leadership, made by the Honorable Everett M. Dirksen of Illinois in the House of Representatives on March 20, 1946.

Through an oversight, the name of Con Chellis was omitted from the list of those attending the Alumni Banquet in New York City.

Crawford Bishop is in Japan as a representative of the State Department.

The following have indicated that they will be in Hanover on July 19 and 20. If your name isn't on the list, we will be glad to put it there if you'll notify Dave Main, Norm Russell or myself: Adriance, Blood, Bowlby, Brooks, Chellis, Childs, Clark, Cogswell, Connell, Cooke, Cromwell, Joe Cushing, Dakin, Davis Hal Edgerton, Ned French, Gordon Guyer Hartmann, Hatch, Arthur Holmes, Kingsbury McGrath, Dave Main, Meservey, Milham Morse, Nuelle, Page, Pierce, Powers, Rainie, Redman, Richardson, Rugg, Seager, St. Clair Swasey, Thrall, Wallace, Warner, White Whittemore, Webster.

There are about 30 more who hope to be present. Those who fail to show up will miss a grand program as well as the pleasure of meeting their classmates and their families.
