See you in Hanover in June 1946.
I hope every member of the class is duly impressed with the splendid work Norm Russell is doing in connection with the financial affairs of the class. Surely the least we can do is show our appreciation by sending a check for dues.
While the finances are in good shape our bank balance would be much improved if the sixty-odd members who haven't paid this year's dues would send in their checks.
Norman Pierce recently returned from Germany by airplane, via Greenland and Labrador Phil Chase writes that one daughter was graduated from the University of Utah last June and another will graduate next June. Jim is in high school preparing for Dartmouth Walter Dakin advises that he and Mrs. Dakin are planning to be in Hanover for our Fortieth Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Nuelle have announced the marriage of their daughter Elizabeth to Frank L. Sheldon. They are living at i Barnes St., Providence, R. I Norman Bankart reports that the two operations on Mabel's eyes were most successful.
Bill Page writes that John (1939) is in charge of communications on his ship somewhere in the Atlantic and that his son-in-law is in Japanese waters with a squadron of torpedo bombers.
There seems to be a growing sentiment among those who have answered Norm's letter that the class should start now raising a fund for our Fiftieth Year Class Gift. As one member put it, if each of us contributes $10 a year for the next ten years we would have a good nest egg to turn over to the College in 1956.
