We inveigled Tom and Estelle Barnes, this past summer, to leave their sea-side home at Gurmet Bridge, Brunswick, Maine, and come to Cape Elizabeth and have lunch and an afternoon with us. We had a grand time together and Tom was so enthusiastic about Coronado Beach, Florida, where he spends the winter, that my wife and 1 are thinking of trying it out a bit next winter.

Bob Clark of Woodstock, told me at the reunion that he had four children, two boys and two girls, all born on Monday. He also has five grandchildren. This sets me to wonder which member of 1902 has the most children or the most grandchildren. I should appreciate any information. As I remember, Julius ArthurBrown has four sons and one daughter, and seven grandchildren (six of whom are boys). I think all his four boys went to Dartmouth and I hope the present situation changes so that the six grandsons may get by the admission department.

I have had two letters from Arba Irvin, talking about how he enjoyed our reunion. Arba is still in the Newspaper Advertising business as Western Manager for John B. Woodward, Inc.

Joe Holmes is still active in business and heads up the Crocker McElwain Paper Company, in Holyoke, Mass. Joe looks young and well and says he expects to remain in business.
