Ed Barker and Allan Brown were visitors to Hanover for the Pennsylvania game.
Perley Churchill reports a good visit with Bill Ahem, Guy Knapp and Harry Pelren in Concord, N. H., recently.
Clarence Langley has been employed as Highway Engineer in the Mississippi District Office o£ the Public Roads Administration for ten years. He makes his home in Jackson, Mississippi, and finds it a progressive community which is growing almost too fast. He writes, "My work takes me to all parts of the State and I have enjoyed my contacts with various types of the most unreconstructed Johnny Rebs remaining. I am considering retirement. I shall reach the mandatory retirement age in four more years in any event and may decide to call it a day even sooner." Clarence was unable to return to the reunion because it came during his busy season but sent his warm regards to all his friends.
Guy Dudley writes that "the reunion was a grand success. I still review in mind the splendid time I had in Hanover this spring. I hope I may be able to get to Hanover oftener hereafter." Guy moves from his home in Waterford, Maine, about this time to his home in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Many of us looked for George Hoyt at the reunion but failed to find him. He has now explained his absence. "I spent our reunion period—and considerably more—in the hospital, recuperating from a heart attack. I am now up and around and do a little 'work . Bruno Kimball sent me a long letter with a picture of the class, and a schedule to tell me who all but two of them were. I had to go look in the mirror again after seeing what you all look like. Hardly recognized myself. A handful of envy to those who attended the peerade."
Boston '07 men Had a class dinner on October 24, the night before the Harvard-Dartmouth game. "Judge" Bill Smart organized the party, so you know it was good. All the coaching problems were solved and the score of the game to be played on the following day was definitely determined. The following were present: Smart, Liscomb, Fassett, TedRichardson, Kenyon, Grimes, Tarbell, Hitching, Cochrane, Jim Brown, and Lane.
Rube and Mrs. Prichard and their son who is in the Navy called on Herb Hinman this summer at his home in Newport News, Virginia.
Sam Barnes is still enthusing about the reunion and is writing appreciative letters to the reunion managers.
Bill Cummings, believe it or not, is now a grandfather nine times—six grandsons and three granddaughters. In spite of that he is busily engaged in expanding his business, having recently established an office in New York in the Empire State Building and in other large cities.
