Coach Eddie Jeremiah has certainly changed his tune on the weather. Having groaned all winter over the warm spells that softened the ice in the hockey rink, he now could do with a touch of spring that would speed up the shift of baseball practice from the indoor cage to Memorial Field A six-game southern trip during Easter recess will launch Jerry's first season at the varsity helm Tuss McLaughry opened spring football practice in the cage on March 17, with a huge squad of 1946 yearlings and February newcomers. Varsity and jayvee players reported a week later. Tuss promises continuation of the "T" but with new variations.

....With their eyes on the 1948 U. S. Olympic selections, twelve members of Dartmouth's championship hockey team organized themselves into the Hanover Indians and entered the National A.A.U. tourney at Providence on March 21. Dick Rondeau '44 is coaching them.
