Under the able and enthusiastic tutelage of Bill Battles, who doubles in the fall as Assistant Line Coach, the Green has been carrying on hopefully and with reasonable success toward building a championship aggregation in the grunt-and-groan department. The personnel of the current aggregation is as follows: Hank Barnes (121 pound class); Pat Dolan (128 pound class); Warren Ornstein (136 pound class); Ronnie Brighton (145 pound class); Captain Pete Larson (155 pound class); Fred Klett (165 pound class); Dave Donahue (175 pound class); and Bob Zeiser (heavy-weight). The high point of the current season was a 12-12 tie against an aggressive Pennsylvania team, with Dolan, Ornstein, Larson, and Klett winning their matches to put the Green out in front. Losses in the light heavy and heavyweight bouts brought Penn into a final tie with Coach Battles' zealous charges.
