THE ST. LOUIS Alumni Association met on March 26, at the home of Dave Biggs '42 for a smoker and to see some Dartmouth movies. Some eighteen or twenty local Alumni gathered to watch Howie Mullin '27 and his 12 assistants try to operate the movie camera. Despite the fact that there wasn't an operator's union card in the house, the pictures were eventually shown and were excellent, so they tell me.

On May 1, the St. Louis Club celebrated by holding the second Barn Dance of the year, a repeat performance by popular request. This party was as big a success as the previous one, and the blow-out ended only when lightning blew out'the fuse in the electrical circuit and silenced the recorded music. The attendance was largely still going strong at that time. Among the vigorous square dancers were Leigh Turner 'O4, James A. Burns 'O7, Howie Mullin '27, Ed Grace '38, Russ Fette '39, Hall Colton '35, Jimmy Jones '38, Boyd Rogers '35, Ralph Trevillian '43, John Mc Carthy '43, Al Gruer '44, Earl Poe '42, Dick O'Haren '47, Buster May '36, Bill Curtis '36, Ernie Curtis '36, Dick Meyers '35, Jerry Peterson '43, Dan Kerwin '35, Carl Holekamp '42, Ted Hinson '41, and Marty Kerwin '33. None of the above could dance as well or as often as their attractive wives.

Greatly missed by all were the stars at the first dance, Norm Probstein '43 and Sparky Adams '43. Sparky and Norm, come home, all is forgiven!

We are still meeting every Thursday, at 12:15, in the back room of Gerken's Oyster Bar at 321 Olive St.
