Your Secretary has changed his address from that printed above to 207 West Cameron Ave., Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I am enrolled as a Graduate Student in the School of City and Regional Planning. If you have the chance, drop me a line at either address and I'll be sure to get it either way.
This month's column, you'll notice, is considerably shorter than last month's. True, I had all last summer's news to give you in the previous column but this month I have practically no news—only that sent me by the College. In order for this column to be successful that news must be supplemented by letters and cards from you. I know you must be tired of my harping on this subject but if you could only realize the importance of your letters and drop me a line every now and then it would make the thing a lot easier for me and more interesting for you. Maybe I should offer a bounty for each letter received.
Wilbur Bull, ex-Green skier and track man, is now teaching math at Burr and Burton Seminary in Manchester, Vt.
Fred Garfield, a grad student at Syracuse, recently received a $250 national prize for his essay entitled "Why I Am a Young Democrat." Fred's engagement was reported in last month's column.
Gordon French has been appointed an agent for the Farmers and Traders Insurance Co. Previously he had taught and coached at Milford, Conn., and Henniker, N. H. He's now living in Hudson, N. H.
Bill Hart and Ursula Carr Anglim of Fitchburg, Mass., were married in that city on September 17.
Dr. Bob Clifton and Dorothy Anne Swett of Fall River, Mass., announced their engagement the middle of August. Bob is completing his last year at Harvard Medical School.
Jim Barnet and Barbara Florence Jaffee of New York also announced their engagement the first part of September.
Among those fortunate enough to work in a few days at the Inn recently were: Mr. andMrs. Bob Grey, Mr. and Mrs. N. O. Newcomb, Mr. and Mrs. John T. McLaughlin,Stan Waterman, and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Luxand daughter.
