In every organization there are those members who work like the dickens and very seldom get any publicity or recognition. Every year in every part of the country hundreds of guys appear before an interviewing board of Dartmouth men who in turn pass the applicants' qualifications along to the College. Each of us can think back to the time when we appeared before such a board and can well remember the kindness and courtesy with which we were treated. We have two members of '46 who work hard at this job and whom no one hears anything about: Hank Stern and Herrn Obermayer. Here's a vote of thanks for a job well done.
Santa left a copy of the pictorial Dartmouth Scene at my house. If you haven't seen it, get hold of a copy and glance through it. You'll think you're back in Hanover.
