On Friday, October 7, the weekly luncheon meeting of The Dartmouth Club of Cleveland was transferred to the Mid-Day Club in the Union Commerce Building. Hereafter, regular Friday luncheons will be held at the Mid-Day Club. The transfer is being made primarily to assure the Club of a private room for its weekly luncheons.

The fall program of the Cleveland Club opened auspiciously on Friday, September 23, when Reel Rolfe '31, manager of the Detroit Tigers, was the guest speaker at a luncheon meeting at Monaco's Restaurant. Red was introduced by Bill Steck '31 and talked informally about all phases of baseball. He willingly answered the many questions coming from Cleveland fans in our Club and had President Howie Schiiemann '33 not called a halt to the proceedings, the meeting would have continued all afternoon. Lou Weitz '35 deserves a lion's share of the credit for the arrangements. Approximately 60 members were in attendance which speaks well for local interest in Dartmouth and baseball.

We are happy to report the promotion of Henry J. Coleman '42 to the position of Advertising Manager of the Standard Oil Company of Ohio.
