Class Agent, GEORGE STEELE The Choate School, Wallingford, Conn.
A Happy and Prosperous New Year to you all It's Saturday the first and the copy must go to Hanover for the column. Was looking at some pictures and found a group comprising: Frank Dudensing, Keith Wood,"T. D." Jeicett, Red Orion, Ralph Stone, Harold McAllister, Larry Brown, Jack Nelson,Emmett Pishon, Art Richardson, Line Morton, Hamnvy Hamilton, Andy Comstock, TedDavis and Don Cunningham. Remember what it was—sure, you're right, the candidates for "Ass. Managers" out in back of the "new gym."
Please let me thank all those who sent the many, many Christmas cards and messages to the secretary. Wish we could do it personally for everyone.
Len Manley's youngest son Vaughn is a freshman at Leland Stanford, and a tennis shark.
The engagement of Nancy Dyke Trow- bridge, daughter of Parker and Zelpha Trowbridge of Worcester, and Richard Fraser Coe of Worcester was announced in December just before Christmas. Nancy graduated from Howard Seminary and attended Clark University. She is a research technician at the New England Deaconess Hospital. Richard Coe, a graduate of Phillips Exeter, is now a senior at Harvard. During the war he served three years with the U. S. Army.
Just as we started writing, Tubby Merrill called to say he has a granddaughter down in South America (Chile) born December 30. Hank (Henry Jr.) and Mary have broken the run of all boys for the Merrills. Message did not give the name. That will follow.
Stanwood Miller has broken his silence to say that his address is now Box 24, Calimesa, Calif. He went to California from Denver, Col.
....Jack and Dolly Scarry's card came from East Main St., Hopkinton, Mass., which may mean a move on their part.
Many '13 men are playing key roles in interviewing candidates for admission to Dartmouth. Those very busy just now in New Hampshire and Vermont are Jack Nelson,Morris Cone, "T. D." Jewett and Bart Shepard. Jack is Alumni Councilor for the entire region of Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont, which is plenty of job. More of others later. The column is short this month to make room for the Alumni Fund Report.
Fund Contributors for 1948 192 Gifts (Participation Index 96). Total gifts: $8,667.34 (109% of objective). JOHN J. REMSEN, Class Agent.
