Alumni Council Meets

A DISCUSSION of the College's financial problems led by President Dickey and Halsey C. Edgerton '06, Treasurer of the College, with emphasis on the role of the Alumni Fund in future needs of Dartmouth, was one of the principal items on the agenda for the semi-annual meetings of the Alumni Council planned for January 21 and 22 in Hanover. Among the various committee reports was one on the College's admissions policies prepared by H. Clifford Bean '16, chairman of the Alumni Council's Committee on Admissions and Schools. More than 50 past and present members of the Council were expected to be present at the two-day program, which was scheduled to begin with a reception and dinner at the Hanover Inn on Friday, January 21.
