The annual meeting and dinner of the Dartmouth Club of New Mexico was held at the Sandia Base Officers' Club on March 23, 1970. Guest speaker from the college was Seaver Peters '54, Director of Athletics.

The cocktail hour enticed most of those attending to arrive by 6:00 P.M. or shortly thereafter, including Furb Haight '21 and his wife, Mary who came all the way from Taos to take distance honors.

In what must have been the shortest annual meeting on record, capable president, Dr. Bill Michener '51, presented the slate of the nominating committee which was accepted by acclamation. Then ye scribe and keeper of the books presented a sixty second report on the condition of the exchequer indicating a pleasant degree of solvency.

New officers for the coming year who were present with their wives were BobLong '61, president, Dick Paul '41, secretary-treasurer, and the following members of the executive committee, Dick Barr '61, Dick Mather '40, Dr. Bill Michener '51, Furb Haight '21, and Ken Heusinkveld '52. Dick Redington '64, our new vice-president, had a prior commitment.

Additional participators that evening were Dr. Ted Mortimer '44, Lt. Col. Clayt Gray '41, Dr. Charles M. Thompson '36 and their wives; Dr. John Talley '50 from Santa Fe,Drs. Bill and Valerie (62m), and Rick Mather '71, home for spring holidays.
