PRESIDENT DICKEY announced the ap- pointment late in December of Nichol M. Sandoe Jr. '45 of Pelham Manor, N. Y., as Alumni Fund Associate to assist George H. Colton '35, who is in charge of all the College's fund raising activities. Formerly assistant circulation manager for ScholasticMagazines, Sandoe recently served as campaign assistant for U. S. Congressman Jacob K. Javits of the 21st New York district.
A native of Washington, D. C., he prepared for Dartmouth at Kent School. He interrupted his college education in order to serve 26 months in the Office of Strategic Services in both Washington and London. He returned to Dartmouth in March, 1945 and received his degree in June, 1946. While an undergraduate, Sandoe was president of Green Key and a member of Theta Delta Chi fraternity. He is the son of Nichol M. Sandoe '19.
