Dick will protest in the loudest of terms that 1930's outstanding results are attributable to the thoughtfulness, concern and generosity of the individual members of the Class and to his hard-working assistants, but all of us well know of the tremendous amount of time and thought which Dick gave to his job this last year and he may be sure that he has the individual and collective thanks of those of 1930.

An inquiry into the activities of Blair Wood this past June failed to produce an extended account but did elicit the information that he was a Republican candidate for County Attorney.
