Meeting twice during December, this alumni group had one of its most active months in its history. On December 7 we were honored in Glens Falls when "Tuss" McLaughry was in town to speak to the annual Northern Conference High School Football Banquet at the Hotel Queensbury, Glens Falls. "Tuss" met informally with our group at a cocktail party which preceded the dinner. The party was a great success when 43 members of our group and special guests attended and met "Tuss." The party was handled by a committee composed of Bill Sharp '26, Kip Higley '24, Jud Hannigan '46, Bob Crawford '37, Phil Peck '30, George Davis '2B and Frank Morey '20. At the banquet which was open to the general public and attended by the area high school football teams, "Tuss" gave a very inspiring and well received talk. After the dinner, movies of the '49 Cornell-Dartmouth football game were shown. The club also presented a trophy to the outstanding player of the Conference for 1949.

On December 29 we had our annual Fathers' and Sons' Dinner, at the Glens Falls Country Club. Enjoying a fine steak dinner, the members again turned out in good numbers for this dinner, which has proved to be the No. 1 dinner of the year for the club. Among the undergraduates who were able to attend this year were Bob Farrell '49, Dick Higley '49, Paul Rouillard '50, John Higley '51, Orson Spurr '52, Jim Wright '52. and Rog Williams '53. The Rev. Irving G. Rouillard of Saratoga Springs spoke in behalf of the fathers and his son Paul said a few words for the undergraduates.

The next meeting of the club is scheduled for April at which time we hope to have a speaker from Hanover and when we will have our annual business meeting and election of officers for the following year.
