The month of December brought one of the most enjoyable meetings in this club's history when 35 turned out for the Undergraduates and Fathers Dinner. Eleven undergraduates and five fathers were our guests at this meeting held at the Hotel Queensbury, Glens Falls, on Tuesday, December 28. The local skiing conditions kept the guest register down somewhat, but the large percentage who did turn out was a very gratifying number to the club members.

The guests were Dick Higley '49, Paul Olson '49 and father, Hjalmar H. Olson; Bob Farrell '49 and father, W. J. Farrell; Dick O'Brien '49; Paul Rouillard '50 and father, Rev. Dr. Irving G. Rouillard; Bill Sharp Jr. '50; John Higley '51; Orson Spurr Jr. '52, and father, Orson K. Spurr; Jim Wright '52; and Duke Mac Arthur '52 and father, S. H. Mac Arthur.

Highlight of the evening was a very inspiring talk by Rev. Dr. Irving G. Rouillard of Saratoga Springs, Harvard '12, father of Paul Rouillard '50. Everyone enjoyed hearing a Harvard man tell us what fine spirit and a great college we have, a fact which we all realize but which we appreciate when we hear an outsider remind us of it. Dick O'Brien '49 spoke briefly on the Hanover scene of today and brought us up-to-date on the winter sports picture at Hanover.

Among the regular members who attended the dinner were: Dr. Jim Shields and Charlie Faxon '14, Bill O'Connor '21, O. T. Griffin '23, Kip Higley '24, Bill Sharp '26, Larry Kenny and Vic Liddle '28, Bob Crawford '37, Bill Bronk and Jack Harmon '3B, Roy Middleworth '39, Don Hanks and George Morse '41, Gibb Clark and John Bullard '42, Jack Harle and Henry Moore '45, Arch Gernert '46, Jack Havens '47.

It is planned to hold the next meeting early in the spring, at which time it is hoped to have a speaker from Hanover.
