The club held its final meeting of a very eventful year at the Hotel Queensbury, Glens Falls, on April 22. Elections for the ensuing year were held and "railroaded through' as Bill Sharp '26 moved up to the top spot succeeding Bob Crawford '37 wh° had done one swell job as President. Henry Moore '45 became Vice President and John Bullard '42 was re-elected Secretary-Treasurer. Phil Peck '3O and Vic Liddle '2B composed the nominating committee.
Guest speaker for the evening was BobMonahan '29, College Forester and General Manager of the DOC, who spoke on "Off Campus Dartmouth." Bob talked on recent happenings in Hanover and brought members up-to-date on details that the alumni do not obtain through this MAGAZINE or their newspapers. After his informal talk, Bob showed a very fine colored film on the 1949 Winter Carnival. Being some of the clearest pictures ever shown of this event, these also were well received.
