The Glens Falls Club once again started the new year with a successful outing and clam steam at the Battenkill Country Club, Greenwich, N. Y., on September 16. Alumni, undergraduates and guests saw another club attendance record fall, but the goal of 60 for this year was missed by just one. Tuss Hand 43 and Bill Sharp '26 handled the details, the most popular being the large and excellent beer selection on hand. Due to the unseasonably cool weather, everyone joined together around the clubhouse fireplace and piano as soon as the last clam disappeared. HankMoore '45, club president, and Kim Gannon, song writer of New York and Hollywood, alternated at the piano. The party continued well into the night and everyone, especially the wives, agreed that the club was well on the way to another successful year.

Those present included Kip Higley '24, Coop Rhodes '25, Bill Sharp '26, Larry Kenney '28, Phil Peck '30, Bill Ferguson '36, Bob Crawford '37, Bill Bronk '38, Roy Middleworth '39, Bill Hayes '40, Don Hanks "41, George Morse '4l, John Billiard '42, Gibb Clark '42, Tuss Hand '43, Hank Moore '45, Duke Schneider '46, Dick Higley '49, Dan Ryder '49, Paul Rouillard '50, John Higley '5l, Rog Williams '53 and Bob Marrs '54.

Plans for the year include a program featuring a business meeting on Dartmouth Night, October 20, a Fathers' and Sons' Dinner late in December, the annual meeting and guest speaker from Hanover in April, and a dinner dance in May or June.
