All signs on Long Island are pointing to the Hempstead Garden where Dartmouth's Indians and Hofstra's Flying Dutchmen will collide in basketball on February 27. Ticket chairman Phil Orsi has been swamped with applications from alumni and Dartmouth fathers, and the Hofstra section was sold out almost as soon as the tickets went on sale. There were a few tickets put on public sale after January 15, but Orsi will try to take care of late applications. Send checks to Orsi at 14 Bay view Terrace, Manhasset (tickets are Si.Bo each plus a 10c handling charge on each application).

The committee is watching the Big Green's showing in the Ivy League and hopes Coach Lampe's charges will come to Long Island with a winning record. Meanwhile, Hofstra continues its winning ways and would love nothing better than to trounce the Indians in their first meeting.

Wes Field, forward, is the only Long Islander on the Hanover squad, but a large group from his native St. Albans plans to be on deck to cheer the big forward, who is finishing his third varsity season.

Wally Rushmore '32, chairman of the Glee Club concert, announces that this popular event will be at Garden City High School on April i. Regardless of the date, Warner Bentley promises there will be no April Fool joke about it. The boys will be out to make Long Island forget about the 1948 concert, which everyone is still raving about. The date is a Saturday night, so mark your calendar now and arrange for a baby sitter early.

Our active membership roster now includes nearly 40 Dartmouth fathers. Wouldn't your father like to join? Dues are the same one dollar. Send his and yours to Phil Orsi.
