Don't forget our Reunion in June.Herb Potter sends in a letter from deepin the heart of Texas. At the time of the SunBowl game Herb proved himself a real oldDartmouth man by contacting Joe Sullivan, erstwhile Dartmouth football luminary whowas with the Georgetown team, and winingand dining him at his home, much to thedelight of his young daughter. These teenagers fall hard for the football heroes andhere was one in the flesh from her father'sold stamping grounds. Herb wants it to beknown that his latch-string is always outto any Dartmouth man wandering downthat way.

Walt Maeder and String Downing assistedin the activities of the North Shore Dartmouth Club's dinner in January. Nuf ced!

Understand Marjory (nee The LittleDove), presented Cloughie with a DeLuxeIce House on his birthday. For awhile Ithought he meant Dog House. If it meanswhat I think it is, there's no reason whythey shouldn't be the most popular couplein Cambridge. Cloughie reports that Boston was honored recently by a visit fromthe Mayor of South Orleans Johnny Johnson. Rumor has it that both he and DickWyman have made plans to hibernate inthe South for the winter season. Cloughiealso reports that he is moving to largerquarters next month, but whether on account of the size of the Ice House he isstrangely reticent.

Jack Mason's resignation as Chairman of the Alumni Fund came as a bombshell and will cause widespread regret among the Alumni. None will feel it more deeply than Jack. After a serious bout with virus pneumonia last fall, the loss of time from his personal business has been too much of a handicap to overcome. The duties of the Chairman require a great amount of traveling, along with much detailed work, that frequently results in subordinating his own personal affairs to the interests of the College. Those of us who know Jack realize how hard it was to make this decision as the interests of Dartmouth have been his primary concern for many years. The Class of 1915 has taken pride in his accomplishments. A card received this month announces

that Russ Rice has been admitted to the firm of Metcalf & Eddy as a partner as of January of Congratulations, Russ.

The Boston Herald of Jan. 14 announced the marriage of Mrs. Margaret P. Dunn of York Village, Me. to Harry Burnett. The bride attended Miss May s School and St. Timothy's School and during the wax was active'as a Red Cross field director in Hospital Service. Harry served in W.W.I as a captain and was one of the original founders of the American Legion. Besides serving as a colonel in the Mass. State Guard in W.W. 11, he was a member of the selective service board at Grafton. After a trip through the South, they will make their home at "Long Reach," York Village, Me.

On January 15, Dick Merrill preached at the Union Services in the College Chapel. On January 16 Dick assisted in the installation of a new minister to the First Congregational Church in Wakefield, Mass. The new pastor had been an Associate Minister with Dick in Columbus, Ohio.

I understand that Gene Bissell and his attractive wife spent the Christmas holidays and New Year's in Europe on a business trip and managed to relax and enjoy themselves along the way.

Duze Lounsberry has had a six-weeks siege in the hospital, but is now on the mend.

Beardsley Ruml has an article in the January 21 issue of Colliers entitled "The Little Capitalists Get Together." Did you classmates notice Beardsley's picture in Life a tew weeks ago on the occasion of the opening of that fabulous Hilton Hotel in Puerto Rico?

Through the College I have just received word of the death of Wallace A. Shambow in the Soldiers Home, Chelsea, Mass.
