Detroit Pow-Wow

One of the biggest Dartmouth alumni gatherings in many years will be staged by the Dartmouth Club of Detroit on October 6 and 7, at the time of the Dartmouth-Michigan game at Ann Arbor. Top events for the twoday program are a banquet Friday night, the game Saturday afternoon, and a big dinner dance in Detroit after the game.

The banquet will be held at the Statler Hotel, Detroit, with President Dickey as the guest of honor. A theatre party is being planned to entertain the wives Friday evening while the banquet is going on. Saturday morning, special trains will run from Detroit to Ann Arbor for the game, and box lunches will be served en route. The post-game dinner dance will be held at the Book Cadillac in Detroit.

Class parties are being planned in connection with .the Pow-Wow and present indications are that from 3,000 to 4,000 alumni and guests will attend the big event. General chairman is Philip K. Watson '19 of Detroit, who is being assisted by several committees made up of Dartmouth men in the Detroit area.
