The following men of the class attended the Boston Alumni Dinner this year: BillCheever, Ned Calderwood, Henry Taylor, JimKimball, T. Wood and Johnnie Ward. Also seated with them, at a table close to the front, were Keniston '02, Edwards and Howard '03 and Surry '99.
Jack Andrews is back at his old tricks again, as he recently appeared in one of the sketches of a Variety Show in Troy, N. Y., sponsored by the Parent Teachers Association, of which his daughter was in charge. He also continues his reputation as a saw specialist, and we believe is officially the one man in Needham who looks after the needs of the Forestry Department in that line.
"Pa" Rollins was assigned as Judge of the Appellate Division for the Southern District of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for a period of three years, beginning October 1, 1949, and continuing until 1952, and it is pleasing to note that this assignment was made by his old classmate Stan Qua, Chief Justice, Supreme Judicial Court.
Jack Dunnington, although not in the best of health, continues to carry on the responsibilities of his large pharmacy business in Brockton, and gets down to his office every day for a short while.
A note from Bob Leavens states Anna and he had the pleasure of having the Morehouses with them for Sunday night supper recently. For a short time after Ted arrived in San Francisco he served as acting manager of the Macmillan office, but now has been relieved.
Frank Cudworth was among the 60 Dartmouth men who gathered for their regular luncheon in St. Pete., Fla., and he was glad to note than a number of the group antedated 1901 by several years. The Cudworths enjoyed the company of their daughter and her husband, together with a varied assortment of household pets, for the Christmas holidays. They also have had the pleasure of seeing Mrs. "Jack" Dowd, who has been spending the winter at Clearwater Beach. Cuddy and Roy Hatch '02 have had several pow-wows this winter which they both have greatly enjoyed.
Once again we must offer our sincerest thanks to Johnnie Ward for his wonderful record in the Alumni Fund campaign this past year, and to assure him of our deep appreciation for his untiring efforts.
A LARGE "D" for a small candidate: Roy W. Hatch, 1902 Class Agent, beams upon his grandson, Roy H. Dobbelaar, who, unless all signs fail, is in line for Dartmouth's Class of 1972.
