The complete movies of last fall's Cornell contest, plus the highlights of all of the 1949 Big Green football games, were shown to a small but loyal group of local alumni at the Saturn Club recently. Frank Mace '45, former Dartmouth grid great of a few years back, was the commentator. Although "mousetrapped" on several plays, he did a good job considering the fact that he hadn't seen the films beforehand. All of this area's accepted candidates for admission to next fall's freshman class were invited and apparently enjoyed themselves.

Inasmuch as less than 10% of the alumni in this area turned out for the "keg tapping," this writer (and the whole executive com- mittee), are curious as to just what sort of a club affair besides the Cornell group party in the fall, the undergraduate luncheon at Christmas, and the annual dinner would interest you enough to get you off your "rusty dusty." All ideas on the subject will be appreciated.

Bill Hart '42 is again chairman of the committee arranging for the presentation of the Dartmouth awards at high school commencement ceremonies.

Anyone who desires to attend the Dartmouth-Michigan game next fall can now get room rates and certain other information from Paul Venneman '26, WA-7406. The Detroit Pow-Wow committee is tackling a big job and would like to know as soon as possible how many would like to attend, how many hotel reservations are needed, how many are going to the banquet on Oct. 6 and the dinner dance on Oct. 7, method of travel to Detroit, how many want to use special trains and busses to Ann Arbor, and how many would like to visit an automobile factory Friday morning. Football tickets will be issued from Hanover in the usual manner by regular application blanks. Reservations for the Pow-Wow, with a deposit of $10.00 per person, should be made as soon as possible. The deposits will be credited on strip tickets which will be issued in the near future. Reser- vation blanks are now being prepared. Help the Detroit club and let Paul know how many are needed.

John Cheney '30 is once more serving as the club's chairman on planning for the annual summer golf outing. More details about this later.
