The College reports the following western New Yorkers in the Class of 1955: William E. Bassett, John H. Cogswell, Herbert F. Darling, Timothy W. Ellis, Chester O. Gale, Jr., Harry P. Guenther, Sterling C. Klinck, James L. Magavern, John F. Orth, Richard P. Reading, Peter K. Terplan, John S. Vaughan, Arthur A. Wellman, and John S. Wilder. The Club extends its best wishes to these young men. It is very gratifying to see the names of many sons of Big Green alumni.

The regular monthly luncheon meetings are now being held at The Spur on Niagara Square on the last Monday of the month. Present at the first session were Club President DonScully '18, Vice-President Lorin Goulding '21, Treasurer Lew Harriman '3B, Secretary JackCowan '4O, Social Chairman Bill Hart '42, School Committee Chairman Bob Common '4O, Admissions Committeeman Jack Marlette '46, and Frank Tindle '2B and Bob Winship '49 of the Executive Committee.

Plans are now being made for the annual Christmas Luncheon for undergraduates, parents and alumni. You will be receiving notices in the near future from Bill Hart giving details as to time and place. This has always been one of the most pleasant and well-attended affairs of the year, so mark it down on your calendar today.

The basketball team will play the Canisius cagers in Memorial Auditorium during the holidays and Jack Marlette heads a group making arrangements for this event. Let's get behind the team and have a large turnout! Coach "Doggy" Julian started from scratch last year. The Green had no place to go but up in the court sport. This year's aggregation should have mastered the new system and the rebuilding job plus hard work should begin to pay dividends. Last year's freshman team should furnish some talented court performers (draft permitting) as the yearling basketeers were among the best to hit Hanover boards in recent years. Be in the Dartmouth cheering section to watch the Indians on the comeback trail to the heights formerly occupied by Big Green fives. See you under the basket!

NEW FRESHMEN ARE HONORED: The Harrisburg Club gives a send-off for boys entering Dartmouth from Central Pennsylvania. Shown in the picture are (1 to r): Sheldon Yingst '55; Bernard Fulton '55; Harry O. DayhofF, guest speaker; John F. Page '39, Club president; and David Zimmerman '55.
