Several meetings of the officers of the Dartmouth Club of Hartford have been held with the object of planning a program which will appeal to all alumni in the area. However, an extra effort will be made this year to have meetings which will interest the younger alumni. The first regular meeting of the season will be held the night before the YaleDartmouth football game with a dinner at Les Shaw's. All are looking forward to this affair at which Bill Lee of the Hartford Courant and Coach Dell Isola are scheduled to speak.
For the first time the Club held a luncheon at which the members of the Class of 1955 from Hartford and surrounding towns were invited. Seven of the 'ss<?rs and most of their fathers were able to attend. They had a chance to meet the other fellows in their class as well as several of the alumni. The occasion was such a success that it should become a regular part of our yearly program. Bill Bates '33, president of the Club, introduced CharlieRice '23, who welcomed the freshmen and their fathers into the fellowship of Dartmouth men in Hartford.
