During the summer and fall, 1886 has been Class-record-minded, and several interesting projects have been completed.

President Newton has accomplished the task of sorting through his extensive collection of Class material and has arranged three groups of special interest. One is a collection of Class reunion buttons and badges, all in Dartmouth green except the 50th reunion badge of 1936 which is distinguished with a wide gold satin ribbon. Another is a set of printed and multigraphed Class reports and letters. The third is a succession of reports of the Class's participation in the Alumni Fund campaigns in which, under Billie's leadership as Class Agent, 1886 has held first place in participation index since 1947.

The guest book used in Hanover at the 65th reunion last June now also has been given a special place in Class records. To the signatures and sentiments written in person by those attending reunion have been added the greetings sent at the time by absent members of the '86 family.

In addition, the secretary's department has, since the 60th reunion, been using a scrapbook appropriately bound in green leather with gold tooling for its clippings from the ALUMNI MAGAZINE of 1886 Class Notes and photographs.

It is planned to continue and extend this collection reflecting '86's history and to place the records eventually in the College archives.
