Lute Oakes spent two days in Hanover in October. Though his home is still in the West, frequent visits to the East, and especially to his native soil, show that these environs still have a warm place in his heart.
Ed Allen changed his residence in October from Claremont, N. H., to 47 Pine, Street, Scotia, N. Y., where he lives with his son Theodore and lovely daughter-in-law Laura, whom many will remember when she attended with her dad-in-law one of our Swampscott weekends. Scotia is two miles from Schenectady, where Ted has a position with the General Electric Company.
The sudden death in October of Leon Richardson, Class Secretary of 1900, was a shock to those of us who have had very pleasant meetings with him through the years ever since undergraduate days.
At the request of the Editor to cut class notes to the minimum this month because of space required for Alumni Fund news and reports, this is all from your Secretary, exceptCordial Wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to the men of '99 and all their kin.
