The Secretary does not have much class news. Why not send me information about yourself and family for use in future ALUMNI MAGAZINE reports? X am sure each member would be interested in learning how the other members of the class are faring. The Geigers spent Thanksgiving with their son Bill and family in Evanston, Ill., and then visited family and friends in Quincy, Ill., and Cape Girardeau, Mo. The trip West and back was made by airplane.

The 1951 Alumni Fund campaign will soon be under way. President Dickey estimates a loss of 25 to go percent in enrollment due to Selective Service. The loss of student revenue and the rise in prices impose a tremendously serious financial problem upon the College, The Alumni Fund Committee will probably call upon the alumni for contributions up to $500,000. I am sure the Class of 1892 will want to do its part in helping to meet the serious condition that faces the College.

Evidence of Arthur and Alice Strong's loyalty to '92 and to Dartmouth is a provision in Alice's will. John Meek '33, College treasurer, reports that Mrs. Strong's will makes a bequest of $2,500 to Dartmouth College, "the annual income thereof to be paid or allotted to the Dartmouth College Alumni Fund and credited to the Class of 1892, such payment or allotment to continue as long as any living alumnus of the Class of 1892 contributes to this Fund. Thereafter the principal is to be used for the benefit of Dartmouth College in such manner as the Trustees thereof may direct."
